Alternative therapies offered at Rising Sun Animal Hospital include (but are not limited to): Chinese Herbal medicine, food and nutritional therapy, Tui-na, therapeutic laser, homeopathic medicine, and acupuncture.
Exotic Wellness Examinations & Emergency Care
Our skilled staff is well trained in the care and husbandry of reptiles, small mammals, amphibians, and arachnids. We can give you the information you need to ensure the health and well-being of your exotic pet. We see the following exotic pets: Ferrets, Rabbits, Rodents, Hedgehogs, Non-poisonous Snakes, Lizards, Tarantulas, Turtles, Tortoises, Emus, Chickens, Ducks, Squirrels, and Skunks. We also work with local wildlife rescues and rehabbers.
Soft Tissue & Oral Surgeries
Our veterinary team is highly skilled and experienced in performing a wide variety of pet surgeries from routine surgical procedures, such as spaying and neutering, to more complex or emergency surgeries including oral surgery for broken or infected teeth.
